August Fitness Goals
I didn't get to my goals last month. Although I completed a lot of workouts and jogs, I put way too much on myself. I wanted to see what I could handle and I think I now have a better idea of what my goals should be so I can make sure I reach them! I finally have my mile to 16 minutes, and that was a goal that I had set for myself this past month!
Running:
For this month, my goal is 12 minutes for my mile and with my shins I'm cutting my jogs down to three times a week. I'm hoping this will give my shins time to recover in between jogs, and since I'm running less it'll motivate me more to push it! I'm slowly feeling my shins not bother me as much (as long as I'm not going too hard on myself) and I know with a little more weight off it'll get better.
Fitness Blender:
For workouts, I'm going to focus on my abs for the month of August. Thursdays: Back to my jogging with the same 10 minute ab workout from Tuesday.

12 minute miles
progress on my abs
less stress
weight loss
I'm not going to worry a lot this month about the number on the scale. I'm going to focus more on becoming a better me and feeling better, because those are my overall goals to becoming fit.
