September 2017 Fitness

Fitness is something I struggle with so badly. I feel this way every month and feel like I'm getting nowhere a lot of the time.
I felt this way after having my second son, but I was smart enough then to take "before" pictures of myself. Fast forward a couple of months, I was having an awful day. My self esteem was the lowest and I just wanted to throw the towel in and call it quits! I mean watching your calories, fitting in exercises, and dealing with every other task in life can be so challenging!
Back to my point... I happened to go through some pictures on my phone and came across those "before" pictures. It was shocking to say the least! The difference between the two were crazy! I couldn't believe that I hadn't seen such a change in myself.
This past week I've gotten to that low point again. I know I've lost some weight, but still feel so sluggish and I'm ready to have this extra weight off! I want to be someone that doesn't worry and stress over this. At the end of the day it isn't the number on the scale that discourages me. It's the fact that I'm still not giving it my all at a healthy lifestyle. Not just for me, but for my family as well. It's so easy to fall back into bad habits and stressful times help ruin those good streaks.
I made the decision today to take my "before" pictures again. I highly recommend it for you too if you're working at a healthier lifestyle. Down the line when you want to throw the towel in, those pictures will keep you moving forward!
My goals for this month is still to focus on my mid section and really work on ab-toning exercises. I found a helpful (30 minutes, give or take a few minutes) ab workout on the lovely Pinterest that I plan to follow this month to switch things up.
I'm getting back to a better rountine of tracking calories, upping my water intake, and getting my daily mile (or more) in my crazy days.
