FabFitFun // Winter 2017-18
FabFitFun // Winter 2017-18
It's that time again for another FabFitFun box!If you haven't seen the many advertisements and sponsored videos on social media accounts about this box then I'll explain. Fabfitfun is a seasonal subscription box. Unlike the other subscriptions I have that cater to mainly beauty (makeup, hair, skincare, etc.), this box is a variety from beauty, to fashion, to everyday handy items. They customize a box with "trending" items according to the season we're in. I think the concept is really cool and I'm so excited to show you what I got in this box. This subscription is $49.99, but with how many sponsorships are out there you can easily find a code to get $10 off your first box (like I did). I've also have gotten emails about a "starter box" that has less products in it , but is only $20.00. After receiving it you can either cancel or you'll automatically at some point (you'll be emailed) be charged for your first actual box which means you're enrolled in the subscription. I wish I would've known about that box, so check it out if you're interested in this. I believe the winter boxes are still available so if you subscribe now you'll receive a winter box. I just wanted to share my thoughts and if I think the 2017-18 winter box is worth it. If you are interested in the starter box I would jump on that now while there is that time gap between the winter and spring boxes so you don't miss out on the spring box!
I love the "newsletter" they send out with each box. I think that is so awesome and I enjoyed reading through it. It shows you the items that you got, but it also tells you more about them: how to wear them, style them, etc. It also has sections about the creators or top people of each company of the items.
(1) BB Dakota [Poncho in Black]
Retails $70
I never thought I would like to wear ponchos, but I have to admit this one is so pretty and comfy. It does make me look a little shorter which I don't need since I'm already short, but this is still an item I could see myself wearing a lot. I like that one side is black with gray stripes and the other gray with black stripes so it can be versatile for different looks.
(2)Ahava [Mineral Hand Cream]
Retails $33
This lotion is a really nice size and very handy to have during these winter months when my hands get so dry! It is very moisturizing and keeps my hands soft. There is a scent, but it isn't a strong one. This would be a hand cream you could take on-the-go and use even when you have a strong perfume on and they won't clash together. I love sweet scented lotions, but I can never wear them when I'm wearing perfume because all the different scents throw me off. I don't want to knock people out when I walk into a room.
(3) Doucce [Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette in Nude]
Retails $70
Although, I do already have a lot of shadows in these shades, this palette is gorgeous! I have tried this eyeshadow before and I liked it a lot so when I seen this brand in the winter box I was so excited! These shadows are pigmented, blend well, and stayed on my eyes good. I will be blogging a palette review over this in the near future so stay tuned for that! I also have to mention the added highlight they threw into this palette. It is gorgeous, bright, but still natural looking!
(4) Homemade [by Ayesha Curry Ceramic Mug]
Retails $16
This is such a cute mug! They had three different mugs with quotes. Although, I would've really liked the "Love You a Latte" mug, I think FabFitFun knows me a little better than that and knew I needed this "I'd Rather be in Bed" mug with eyelashes! It definitely suits me well! This is a larger mug so it holds a LOT of coffee!

I'm all for exfoliating my skin! This is a gel/cream that you apply very thin to your face and rub in gentle circular motions for 30 seconds, leave on for an additional 2 minutes, rinse, and pat dry! Super simple, but also effective! A little goes a long way with this green cream!
Retails $19
I got these cute black, gray, and white cozy socks. I never knew how much the "aloe infused" part could do for my feet! I mean these are super soft and all, but after wearing these once my feet were so much softer! My feet are a lot like my hands at staying pretty dry during the winter, so that's a plus! My feet also are ALWAYS cold in the winter. I stay obsessed with socks because of that. I love that the aloe stays in the socks for up to 20+ washes! These are definitely a new favorite in my collection of comfy fuzzy socks!

This necklace is so delicate and pretty. I love the layers of it. Three layers the same length and one that is longer and has the ends hanging down even lower. Yeah, I'm bad at explaining jewelry, but you can see what I mean by the photos. I wore it looser for this look, but this necklace is also stunning when wearing it as an actual choker too!
Retails $29
I can not say enough about this product! This was my "Wellness Choice Item" for my winter box. I was so intrigued by this, because I was having some really bad insomnia issues. This has been a lifesaver! After you spray your pillow the smell automatically calms you and your literally asleep in 15 minutes. No joke. My husband is my witness with this product because he loves it just as much as I do! If you are struggling with sleeping at night or you're a sleep deprived parent (haha) then you need this product in your life!

This item was my "Beauty Choice Item" for my winter box. I fell in love with lip masks, but after trying eye masks, I love those even more! These are great for those early mornings, or to refresh and energize yourself in the afternoon, or an excellent way to make yourself feel better after being sick for a week straight (I know from experience). These little eye masks make my under eyes smooth, soft, hydrated, and ready to take on the day!
