These boys just melt my heart. They're getting so big and learning new things everyday!

Roman Eli
On Valentine's Day, this little man will be 4 1/2 years old. When did that happen?! He is such a handful with his OCD and little quirks, but I wouldn't have him any other way. He is such a smarty and is not only learning because he's supposed to, but learning because he wants to! We bought some first steps to reading book sets for him at Christmas and recently have started those with him. He loves sitting down every night with us and "copy reading" along with us. He is even picking up on some of the words already! We also got him this super helpful kid tablet that is Mr. Pencil and is learning how to write his numbers, uppercase, and lowercase letters. I really recommend this to any parents that have little ones in the early learning stages before school. It has helped him so much! He wasn't interested in writing before we got him this. Roman is our "little man" for a reason. His brother is not only catching up to him in weight, but also in height! As of now, he is always singing, dancing, requesting to watch really annoying shows, up to no good, or giving Daddy & Mommy kisses.

Did I mention he loves to dress himself now?

Axel James
This little daredevil is almost 21 months old and so close to being a two year old! The terrible twos have definitely started (at about 18 months old) and it looks like he'll be just as tough as his brother was. The only difference is that Axel is going to be our child with broken bones, stitches, concussions (he may have already had a mild one of those when he fell head first on concrete in line to see Santa), and all those skinned knees. This child always has bruises on his legs and bumps on his head! He loves to climb and I can't turn my back for 2 seconds without turning to see him about to fall and my heart stops. He already has such a sense of humor and is always giggling along with his brother. His main hobby is still eating, and that's why he is only 7 lbs. lighter than his brother now! His next hobby is a toss up between eating everyone else's food before his own or wearing any shoes he can find (of course, as long as they aren't his. They have to be bigger than his feet so he can slip them right on.) around the house. You also better not leave your sunglasses laying around, because once he has them they're either his now or you're going to be dealing with a tantrum. He likes to wear the sunglasses on his neck. Speaking of tantrums, that's a daily occurrence with him now, especially when this boy is hangry! Thankfully he still loves his sleep, playing with his brother, watching the Lorax, and cuddling with Daddy & Mommy.

He loves bananas.

A couple weeks ago when we were sick (you can tell by Roman's pitiful face) Axel was being so sweet by taking his brother's temp.

These boys are always so sweet and then so rotten! They love sitting in their little chairs their Papa & Mammy got them to watch their movies. This day they decided to sit together! It didn't end well. Roman, of course, dressed himself again.
