Skims T-Shirt Bras // Review
Skims T-Shirt Bras // Review
A few months ago I ordered from Skims for the first time. Let's just say I've never been someone to buy expensive bras... No these aren't the most expensive bras, but more than what I normally like to buy. For the past almost 7 years I've been a stay at home mom so I can honestly say 90% of the time I'm wearing a sports bra or no bra. Ha! The struggle is real when looking for the best bras. My weight has gone up, down, and back up again so shopping for any article of clothing is a struggle with sizes. I have somehow managed to stay the same bra size the past couple years (if not a little bigger which I'll mention) so I didn't think I could go wrong there. Skims had an incredible Black Friday sale on their T-Shirt Bras. It was around $130 for 3 of their $52 bras so I jumped on that and ordered 3. I only show two below because two that I ordered are the exact same but in different shades. Skims has grown and has many more bra types since I bought these even. I want to get my hands on more but that is where I can say the website doesn't stay stocked well. I understand they're very loved products but it does suck when you're really wanting to buy a certain piece and it's sold out for months.
Comfort-wise these are nice but I'll go more into that with each one below. For both of them they are comfortable, but keep in mind these are underwire bras. They're not comfy sports bras. They're bras that give you support. In my opinion, they're the most comfortable wired bras I have worn. The "T-shirt" scared me thinking these would be thinner with less coverage, but the "T-Shirt" is more about the comfortable material. These have nice coverage.

T-Shirt Bra
This first bra is the regular T-Shirt bra that gives nice coverage, is comfortable, and gives support with an underwire. I'll be honest sports bras are still my favorite, but this has become my current go-to bra for everyday wear. This is the shade Sand which is the lightest. I love the shade range of skin tones so much! I also bought this shade in the Push-Up T-Shirt Bra but I wanted to show the other shade I got in that style below instead. Back to this one, it is a standard bra and like I mentioned before size-wise it fits nicely. I was concerned when I first bought them because I didn't know if they would run bigger, smaller, or regular. Back in November, I was a little heavier so the band was tighter on me, but not so much now that I have dropped some weight. I would say it is true to size.
T-Shirt Push Up Bra
The push up I went for on risk and seeking the feeling of being more put together. My last push up bra I quit wearing soon after I had my first son. Then the many years of feeling like the label "mom" left me not wanting to invest in things like that, but more so for comfort items. These bras (I have the lighter one I mentioned above in the push up as well) make me feel more put together and sexy again. I definitely wear the other more and wish I would've bought two of the regular instead of the push-up, but because I did buy two of them I find myself reaching for them more than I thought I would. This is the shade Oynx which is the darkest shade and is a sleek black. These are snugger, of course than the regular, but again for the support and coverage, they're nice! It is also the same soft comfortable material. Coming from a mom that was used to sports bras on the daily to feel supported and lifted in these has been a game-changer, but hey I'm still over here going braless (at home that is. I couldn't pull that look off. haha) most of the time. Ha!
I'm not one to make posts about bras or putting myself out there, but I was feelin' myself and there's nothing wrong with normalizing bras more! XO
