Fall has come and went as fast as it came. Although, I am very sad it is leaving and the fact that it was 24 degrees this morning when taking Roman to school.. I can say I can feel the holiday spirit starting to reach my soul. I started my 25 days of vlogmas over on the channel today, but want to do a fall recap here and share some pretty special photos. <3

We went to a close by family pumpkin patch that also has a corn maze every year. Not only was it the first family outing since mid March when Covid 19 hit, but it was all outdoors with plenty of space to stay apart from others. The only mask wearing was on the tractor ride over to the pumpkin patch when we were close to others. It's probably the only time we felt like life was back to "normal" for a moment and it was such a good day I couldn't pass up taking some family shots of us not being so stir crazy at home.

Pumpkin patch means... Pumpkin carving! One of my husbands least favorite traditions, but I know he does it every year with me because he knows how much I love it. Watching a kid friendly halloween movie, gutting pumpkins, carving, and roasting yummy seeds. It could've went a little smoother as our oven element decided to go out on us and catch fire as we started roasting our seeds so we had to wait to get a new one the next day. Ahhh 2020, nothing you do surprises us anymore.

Soccer season ended with the boys getting medals. Roman's team actually went to the tournament and got 2nd! We're so proud of both of them for putting their selves out there and completing the season.

Roman had a outside distanced movie night which was nice to go to. Once again another "feel normal" moment even though we all had to distant ourselves. We watched trolls for the 284294 time, had glow sticks, the boys had popcorn, and it was a nice fall evening.

Another fall favorite of mine is Halloween decor (Halloween in general) & fall decor.

We watched so many Halloween movies this year with the boys and then so many scary/horror movies when they went to bed. I wanted October to be the best month this year could give. It ended up being another trying month, but hey Halloween made up for it. We did a little 'trick or treating' in the neighborhood, gave out candy, watched movies, made Witches' Brew mix drinks, mummy hot dogs, jalapeño poppers, caramel apples, and it made my entire month. I'm pretty sure it was the adorable Mario & Luigi that made my month!

November came and went just as fast as October, but we did have some birthdays, thanksgiving, and a bunch of turkeys! Riley our American Bull Dog mix turned one on November 10th! We celebrated with cupcakes (homemade peanut butter cupcakes for her & homemade strawberry cupcakes for us!) and she had to show out by blowing out her own candle (peep my vlog).

Then it was my own birthday of turning 25 and barely getting by. Ha! My boys surprised me with cake and a bunch of my favorite treats. I'm so blessed. <3

Roman has had two school parties this year and I have absolutely hated missing them, but don't get me wrong I understand completely. Even though I couldn't be there I still wanted to make him feel special and bring something nice for the others that were probably missing their parents too. We made little creepy goodie bags for Halloween (forgot to take pictures of course) with candy and fake snakes! For thanksgiving I went a cuter route with these burlap turkeys that I will more than likely post a blog about soon for future reference.

Like I said, a LOT of turkeys. Roman had a school project that was a "family project" that he brought home to do with us. We all had so much fun making a fun rainbow turkey with him.

Moving along to Thanksgiving. Our first as just us. You can see some of it in today's Vlogmas Intro. It was delish and I'm so proud of us for even pulling it off! Haha... I also made some Pumpkin Rolls this fall and my first ever pie!
