Winter Sangria | Mixed Drink

I did a mix drink around October for Halloween and had so much fun with it that I decided to do another and actually vlog and blog it this time. So if you want to see it in action you can watch the video on this Winter Sangria, but I'll have the step by step below too! Plus the ingredient list laid out for you. I've always wanted to try my hand at making a sangria. I LOVE wine so when I was scrolling and seen the words "winter sangria" it was a "say no more" moment.

Ingredients:

Red wine - I'm not boujee here.. I was placing a Walmart pick up order and literally googled "best red wine at Walmart?" and this red blend from Menage a Trois popped up and was available at my Walmart.
Tonic water - I use these small cans from Walmart for my Gin & Tonics so I had them on hand already.
Seeds from half a pomegranate.
1 orange - sliced
1 lime - sliced
2 tbsp. Agave - to add extra sweetness
*I garnished mine with a rosemary twig for the photos aesthetic. Ha

How-To:

Slice up your fruit and perform the blood bath that is deseeding a pomegranate.
Place them into a pitcher

Pour wine over fruit
Add agave for extra sweetness - you can add more or less depending on your preference
This is where you have to watch it from a far.. set it in the fridge to chill and seep together for at least 2 hours.

When serving you can crack open your tonic water to make your drink a little bubbly. Also garnish is optional and honestly mine was for the picture. Haha
SUPER easy and delish. I liked it way more than my hubby (he doesn't like red wine that much though), but me being a wino absolutely loved it. It is quite strong of a wine even with the tonic water. I felt it halfway through my first (and only) glass.
