Keep Moving Forward

            

"My times are in your hands..." is the beginning of Psalm 31:15. I came across this verse in my devotional last week and it's stuck with me since. I'm patient with a lot of things..or so I try to be, but one thing I find myself never being patient about is timing. Timing is everything, right? That's me. I feel that I always have to be in the know of what is going on in my life today, tomorrow, the future, etc. It's a weakness really. My point with this is because I always have this "need to know" feeling, so I'm never at ease with decisions or plans I make. I second guess myself, knock myself down, and hurt my chances at becoming who I really want to be.


This week I stepped out of that boat. With this, I have learned to be patient with God's timing, but to also do what has been on my heart and mind for years. With God's time, I will succeed at what's meant to be. I'm moving forward with what I hope to become with faith and confidence in God by my side, confidence in myself, and the love and support of my family. If you've been holding back and God is telling you it's time. Why wait? It's your time.☀️
