FabFitFun // Spring 2018
FabFitFun is a seasonal $49.99 subscription that has $200+ worth in products! I'm so glad I decided to start getting this box! It is like Christmas every season and if you are a mom or have a busy lifestyle in general. You can sometimes forget to treat yourself, I know because that's how I use to be. With this subscription I get to try new things and add new fun beauty, makeup, health, fitness, fashion, jewelry, and more products into my day! This may seem like a lot, but paying $50 for $200+ amazing products really make it worth it! It's only 4 times a year and I have a code for you to get $10 off your first box!

Before jumping into this FabFitFun wrap up of the Spring 2018 box, check out my full unboxing of it on my Youtube: FabFitFun Spring 2018 Box
Down below I also will include my previous blogs on my other FabFitFun boxes!
I really enjoyed the products in this box. I felt like they kind of went with a "pamper yourself" theme. I mean isn't that everyone of their boxes? What I mean is the actual products are items that you use to unwind, destress, and relax with. This blog is late because I have had this box for 2 months now and I'll be receiving my Summer box soon, but that only means I will have more in detail reviews of these products with how long I've been using each one! First off, you get a cute and very informative newsletter with each box. This shows whats in your box, the retail value, and also gives you insight on how to use each product and a little about the brands.
(1) Rachel Pally Reversible Clutch (bloom) $60
Is this not the cutest?! I was so excited about this clutch. It is pretty roomy and has a pocket in it. I love that it is reversible so you can keep it chic with the nude side or flip it to the floral side for a more fun colorful look. The material of this is really good quality and can make any outfit look more fashionable! I tend to use a tote bag (to carry items that maybe needed for my littles) or a small over cross body purse to hold just what I need (with items for my boys in their own little backpacks). I usually keep it simple. This clutch was a nice way to spice that up and makes the perfect purse for date nights!
(2) Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion $40
I put my holy grail moisturizer to the side to try this one out for two weeks straight. Did it keep my skin moisturized enough? Yes, but not as good. My regular gel like moisturizer is very hydrating, therefor I apply it before bed and it really helps keep my skin hydrated. I fell in love with this product by using it in the morning after my skincare routine or right before applying makeup. It keeps me moisturized throughout the day. I prefer it that way because this is a light formula. It sinks into the skin and leaves the surface smooth making it the perfect base for makeup application. You can see the natural glow I have right after using it as well.
(3) Anderson Lilley Sunset Collection Candle (Manhattan Beach) $45
As you can see in my unboxing, this product didn't come with my box. The shipment on candles were delayed so my candle shipped about a week after receiving my box. I wasn't able to show you in the video, but this is a nice size candle and the rose gold holder? love it! It's such a pretty item to add to my desk. I wasn't "living" for the scent.. But I can honestly say once I actually lit it and the aroma started filling the air it surprisingly is really calming and smells fresh. You can smell it when you walk into our bedroom, but I'm not sure if it would really fill up a much larger room than that. It's a good candle, not the best I've tried, but is a nice plus to this box.
(4) ISH Lip Statement Palette $42
I'm not sure if I would actually purchase a palette like this, especially for the cost, but the formula isn't bad. It is more of a thin creamy formula. The type that needs touch ups throughout the day. This would be handy to take on vacation or a trip for the variety of shades, but for the packaging and the fact that you have to have a lip brush (and preferably a clean one) it doesn't make this super travel friendly. I feel like it would be a hassle to even throw this into your purse instead of a standard lipstick. I'm not trying to bash this palette or brand, I just want to put the cons out there that I personally think about with this palette. The shades are so pretty on their own, but you could also mix shades and have endless shade choices! I will be filming a lip swatch video of this palette on my YouTube soon, so make sure you subscribe to my channel so you don't miss it! In the picture below I am wearing the peach shade (third shade down, first row on the right).
(5) Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask (mint) $40
I was stoked about this item! We don't travel all too much and when we do it usually just involves keeping the kids entertained or having that extra one-on-one time with my Hubby. I was actually excited to use this mask just at home after long days. I deal with awful under eyes. They're usually dark, dehydrated, creasy, etc. I definitely use products to combat those issues, but this mask was really nice to refresh and soothe my eyes after long days and countless nights of staying up late filming and editing. The gel pack can be place in the fridge for a cooling spa-like experience.
(6) Physique 57 Massage Roller (blue) $20
I already deal with back issues, but sitting for so long filming, editing, and blogging... That can take a toll on my back and I got to the point of taking breaks and doing chores around the house to stretch my legs and ease my back a little. The problem with that is it would take awhile to get back to what I was originally doing. Procrastination at its finest! With this handy little massager I'm able to take breaks, as in reading back over/watching a video back for errors, while rolling this on my lower back to ease the tension before finishing up my blog/video. It's definitely an item to have on hand when you have a lot of prefilming and blogging to do for sure!
(7) Dermalect Cosmeceuticals Makeover Concealing Ridge Filler $18
I wasn't sure how much of a difference this product would even do to my nails until I started using it. It applies clear while having a purple sparkle sheen to it, that I don't mind. The strengthening this has done to my nails is incredible! It makes my natural nails feel so much stronger and thicker so they don't break as often and I can actually keep growing them out. My nails have always been a struggle to me. I grew up being a nail biter and finally made the decision to just stop and I really have kept it up since! Having extra products like this on hand helps me grow them and keep them natural instead of turning to gel/acrylics.
(8) KNC Beauty All Natural Collagen Infused Lip Mask (5 pack) $24.99
(Beauty Choice Item)
I originally tried this brands lip mask from a 3-pack I received in a Boxycharm and I really enjoyed them. So getting them in a FabFitFun too was great! These work on hydrating and plumping your lips. The wonders under eye gel mask do, these do the same, just for your lips instead! These personally don't really sting to me, but some others have complained of that issue. What I love about these is the hydrating and nourishing aspects of wearing them for my lips. A handy trick is to wear it while doing your eye makeup. This way you can multitask and just do your face makeup afterwards!
(9) Ettika Day Dreamer Tassel Earrings (black & gold) $58
(Jewelry Choice Item)
Getting jewelry is always fun, but getting a nice pair of earrings that are this cute is amazing! The value of these are insane, but the quality really is there! I am loving the tassel trends and these make any look more interesting and fun! I love the black and gold together. They pair nicely and can be worn with serval outfits. My skin is sensitive and that includes my ears, but I have no irritations wearing these. I'm very pleased with these beautiful earrings.
(10) Dove Exfoliating Body Polish (crushed macadamia & rice milk)
(Sponsored sample)
Lastly, we have the sponsored item from Dove. I tried this last night in the shower. It was really nice! The the exfoliation was great, while really moisturizing and making my skin soft! I will have to get a full size!
I'm very happy with the Spring box and I can't wait to get my hands on the summer! Watch for an unboxing of the Summer 2018 box on my YouTube!
