Pensacola Beach // Florida Vaca 2018

It’s been two weeks since I posted a blog so I thought I would let you guys know where I’ve been. I had several blogs in the works, but completely ran out of time and didn’t get the chance to finish/edit them. We then spent a week traveling, spending time with family in Florida, traveling back home, recovering from the trip, and trying to get back in the hang of things. If you haven’t already go subscribe to my YouTube channel. I upload Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I was thankfully able to get plenty of videos filmed and edited for while we were gone so you can check those out. I will be working on the blogs I had and of course new ones.

Today’s blog I wanted to focus on our trip and share some of it with you. Some of my future blogs may be spontaneous, but honestly I’m starting to think that type of life is easier. Haha!

We had an awesome time with family and enjoyed our trip to Pensacola Beach. It had been almost 4 years since we had been between me being pregnant with Axel, my husbands college/work, and then having Axel as a newborn we held off for a few years. So this was Axels first trip to the beach. He wasn’t so sure if he liked it at first, but definitely warmed up to it and seemed to like it. Roman absolutely loved the beach and has missed it since! We hear about it often. We spent most of our time poolside with family and ended up driving around on the 4th of July watching the fireworks over the water. It was a beautiful show! The boys loved the fireworks this year. Axel made sure to add commentary in between each one. "Oh wow!" "Oooooh" haha!

We made sure to visit Flouders. We’ve missed their seafood nachos so much! Their Blue Marlin drink and sushi was also great! We also found some new places to try out downtown Milton, FL. If you’re ever in that area, I recommend these places. I loved Boomerang Pizza. They had a shop in the front with a Cracker Barrel feel. The waiting area was vintage and chic and the pizza was delish! Scoops was a cute little ice cream shop that reminded me a lot of our local Marble Slab ice cream place. The boys approved of their ice cream!

We also ventured to a park in Milton that was so neat, even with rain showers, the boys didn’t want to leave!

The trip with two little ones was tough. We made it a one day trip going there, but coming back we stayed the night in Tupelo, AL. It made the trip a lot easier on us and the boys. Also the stops for snacks and boiled peanuts make it better too!

We both agreed we need to go more often and not skip years at a time! The trip was much needed and I’m glad the boys got to experience the beach again. I hope you guys enjoy some of the pictures we captured while in Florida. They’re definitely memories I’ll cherish.
P.S. more blogs to come!
