Lazy L Safari | October 2021
Every year we try to fit in a trip to a walk-through safari that is only about an hour and a half away from us, Lazy L Safari. It is ran by a local family in that area and they have a bunch of land with all kinds of animals. We love being able to pet and feed them while also seeing more exotic animals in between. We get to soak up sunshine while we walk through and the boys always have a great time exploring. Axel loves feeding all the animals while Roman loves learning about them while keeping a distance. Haha!
We caught it this year when the weather was very windy, but sunny. It was apart of their spooky October so there was halloween decor scattered too. From donkeys, deer, cows, goats, hogs, alpacas, ostrichs', emus', kangaroos, and more! There is so much to learn about! We also love that this is a safe outdoor activitiy in a smaller location so usually there is 3-4 other families at the place when we are too. It makes for a great family day out.
The goats are always a lot of stressful fun. ha! Between trying to get two kids into the roaming area without letting a goat out to trying to avoid getting your clothes eaten it is quite the time. A couple years ago I wore a "high-low" shirt and let's just say it was a regular shirt when we left. Haha! This year, a kind lady offered to take our photo. The group photo was snapped seconds before that goat bit some of my hair off! I'm so happy the boys both enjoyed it so much for it being such a stir crazy time!
Thanks, Lazy L for another great time!
xx - Ally
